In 1988 Frits Goldschmeding, the founder of Randstad, incorporated a foundation called Stichting Randstad Optiefonds (The Fund). With the incorporation of The Fund the aim was to enable corporate employees worldwide to benefit from and participate in the growth and financial success of Randstad. Nowadays The Fund is a.o. the beneficial owner of a substantial number of Randstad nv shares on which it receives dividends.


The Fund offers, as an independent foundation complying with its statutory purpose, apart from the standard labour conditions of Randstad a benefit to corporate Randstad employees. This opportunity entails the optional participation in an employee share purchase plan, abbreviated as SPP.

The Fund’s  Share Purchase Plan gives all corporate employees a unique chance to participate in Randstad’s success. Many other colleagues around the world are already participating in the  SPP, benefiting from the profits. And we have some good news! As from November 1st, 2024 onwards you do not need to purchase shares first to be eligible for the benefits. The Fund now converts it into a much better plan and introduces a 100% cash amount (SRO Top-Up)  on all amounts saved Upon award this SRO Top-Up will be blocked and will become available after 6 months. This SRO Top-Up amount makes participating in the SPP even more interesting.

So there are many reasons to share our successes together and therefore The Fund, in the best tradition of Frits Goldschmeding, would like you to also be part of the growth of Randstad. That’s why The Fund is offering you to join the Share Purchase Plan. This will allow you to get directly involved in Randstad, simultaneously sharing in the profits of the Company. How does it work? In a nutshell? Very simple! 

 

  • Choose a percentage up to 5% of your gross salary to save every month
  • Sign up (look here to see how enrollment in your country works)
  • After six months your entire savings will be transferred to The Fund and you will have access to your personal online account
  • Upon your choice  your savings can be used to purchase shares and from then on you are a shareholder
  • The Fund grants you a SRO Top-Up amount with a target percentage of 100% of your savings. This grant is blocked and after six months the entire amount is deblocked and available to you provided you are still employed by Randstad at that time.
  • Please be aware that although The Fund stimulates and facilitates investing in Randstad nv shares there is no obligation for you to purchase shares in order to receive the SRO Top-Up amount from The Fund. Just participating and saving is sufficient.
